Fall Monitoring
Fall monitoring involves use of a transmitter that is able to detect falls, unusual body movements, and/or unusually long periods of inactivity. In the event of a fall or a lengthy period of inactivity, the medical alarm system will automatically summon the alarm monitoring company. A user may also call for help manually via “help” button transmitter that is worn around the neck or on the wrist.
Check-In Calls
Check-in calls are an excellent feature of some medical alarm systems. A live operator will try to contact the customer via a telephone call at pre-determined times during the day. If contact cannot be made over a specified length time the customer’s designated contacts will be notified.
